ENGLISH EXAMS FOR PROFESSIONALS

YLE (Young Learners English) qualification of Cambridge are designed for kids in Primary School to start learning English. It is divided into three levels: Starters, Movers y Flyers, and they are prepared with the kids in mind, trying to make it fun way of learning and to encourange them to get the shields that are a way to mesure their progress through the three titles.

KET (Key English Test) is an internationally recognised qualification that mesures the written and spoken strengths and weaknesses on a basic level of English, preparing the way to more complex qualifications like PET y FCE.

Cambridge PET (Preliminary English Test) is a recognised qualification which means that you will be capable of using English on everyday situations at a intermediate level either written or spoken.

PET is the B1 level on the CEFR.

Cambridge FCE (First Certificate in English) is an internationally recognised qualification, accepted by thousand of companies as a high-intermediate level. Many teaching institutions accept FCE as a valid English entry level. This is the minimum level you need have to be able to use English on a daily basis at work. You can hold a basic conversation and write reports acceptably.

FCE is the B2 level on the CEFR.

Cambridge CAE (Certificate in Advanced English)is a well respected qualification. It is recognised by thousands of companies and teaching institutions around the world as an advanced level of English. Companies trust this qualification to hire new staff because it includes the everyday English you need to use in business or any work enviroment. Universities and schools trust the CAE because this level provides the academic skills neccessary to study at university level.

CAE is the C1 level on the CEFR.

Cambridge CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English) is the most advanced qualification of Cambridge University, and shows an outstanding knowledge of English. By obtaining this qualification you will show fluency on your English skills and it will open management working opportunities internationally and also the ability to study a postgrade course abroad. Many universities require CPE as their English entry level.

CPE is the C2 level on the CEFR.

BEC (Business English Certificates) qualifications are designed to show to companies your hability to use English in a professional environment. BEC qualifications have three levels: Preliminary, Vantage and Higher. All of them have their equivalent level on the CEFR.

Preliminary (B1 level), Vantage (B2 level), Higher (C1 level)

The multicultural BULATS (Business Language Testing Service) of Cambridge is available in English, French, German and Spanish languages. It's a very popular system that allow companies around the world to measure the language knowledge of a person. It's frecuently used during hiring processes, many types of training, establishing criteria and general professional developement.

Cambridge ILEC (International Legal English Certificate) is an advanced English level qualification for law professionals. English is a common language among lawyers and general business. Normally, companies need staff with legal knowledge that can be able to communicate with clients and other professionals abroad in English, and also to work with English written material. ILEC measures your English level in relation with the B2 and C1 levels on the CEFR.
